Most fans only come in 100, 125 and 150 mm sizes. The WA range, however, also includes a 120 mm version — if that's the size of your existing wall opening, there's no need to break out or reduce it.
The WA is a solution for everything from a small flat's bathroom to a large family bath. The 100 mm is recommended up to 6–8 m², the 120 mm up to 8–10 m², and the 150 mm for spaces over 10 m².
The ZZ versions feature a built-in non-return valve that prevents cold air from flowing back in.
In winter your bathroom won't cool down, and unpleasant smells from neighbouring flats won't get in either.
The WA housing is made from UV-resistant ABS plastic, so it won't yellow even after years.
The clean white appearance is maintained for the long term.
The WA uses sleeve bearings, meaning it must ONLY be mounted on a side wall. Ceiling or false ceiling installation is NOT recommended — sleeve bearings cannot handle the vertical load.
If you need ceiling mounting, choose the ball-bearing Vega range instead!
The 100 mm is ideal up to 6–8 m² (90 m³/h). The 120 mm is recommended up to 8–10 m² (135 m³/h). The 150 mm is suggested for spaces over 10 m² (180 m³/h).
We do NOT recommend it. The WA uses sleeve bearings, which will fail quickly in a vertical position. For ceiling installation, we recommend the ball-bearing Vega range.
The non-return valve prevents cold air and unpleasant odours from flowing back through the duct into the bathroom when the fan is off.
The 100 mm runs at 37 dB, the 120 mm at 41 dB, and the 150 mm at 43 dB.
