The Awenta Vega series is one of the Polish manufacturer's most popular classic bathroom extractor fans. Its simple design fits any bathroom, while hiding reliable technology on the inside.
The Vega range is available in 100, 125 and 150 mm duct diameters, with numerous control options: from a basic switch version through timer models to humidity sensor and speed controller variants. You're guaranteed to find the right match for your bathroom and needs.
The official manufacturer's data sheet contains all the key technical specifications — performance, pressure and noise levels, dimensions, and installation information. A handy reference for electricians, architects, or anyone who needs precise technical details for installation.
Did you know? The Awenta Vega WGB series is possibly the cheapest fan we'd recommend based on our own experience.

Vega fans use ball-bearing motors, meaning they can be installed not only on walls but also on ceilings. Traditional sleeve-bearing fans fail quickly in ceiling positions because they can't handle vertical loads — the Vega's ball bearings are built for it.
Planning to install in a false ceiling? The Vega is the right choice!
Forget the screwdriver and hours of fiddling. Thanks to Awenta's patented Easy Clip system, the front panel clicks off with a single motion — no tools needed.
Cleaning really does take just minutes — remove the panel, wipe it down, pop it back on, done.
If you live in a block of flats, or your vent duct leads straight outside, you'll know the problem: when the fan is off, cold air (and sometimes your neighbours' cooking smells) flows back in.
The Vega's non-return valve (ZZ) models solve this: the valve automatically seals the opening as soon as the fan stops.
The Vega housing is made from UV-resistant ABS plastic that won't yellow from sunlight or crack over the years. The anti-static surface resists dust, keeping the fan looking good with minimal maintenance.
Tired of fans that fall apart and turn yellow after a few years? The Vega won't let you down.
According to the manufacturer's tests, the Vega motor can last 30,000 operating hours. What does that mean in practice? At 3 hours of daily use (more than enough for an average family), that's roughly 27 years.
Even if only half of that holds true, this simple little bathroom fan will last well over a decade.
The Vega 100 delivers 95 m³/h airflow, ideal for bathrooms up to 8–10 m². For larger rooms or heavier moisture (e.g. frequent showering), opt for the 125 or 150 mm version (provided your duct can accommodate the larger diameter).
Yes! The ball-bearing motor is specifically designed for ceiling installation in a vertical axis. Unlike sleeve-bearing fans, the Vega won't fail prematurely in this position.
If you want the fan to run with the light switch, the basic version is fine. If you'd like it to keep running after you leave, choose the timer (T) model. The humidity sensor (H) model switches on automatically when moisture rises — this is the most convenient option and the one we always recommend.
The 100 mm version runs at just 36 dB — quieter than a soft conversation. The 125 is 39 dB, the 150 is 43 dB. Not the quietest bathroom fan on the market, but certainly less noisy than any worn-out old model.
Yes — the Vega has IPX4 protection, meaning it's shielded against splashing water. It shouldn't be exposed to a direct water jet, but it works perfectly in a humid, damp environment.
